			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong></strong>PhD students attending the Doctoral Forum can apply for grants  covering part of the conference, travel, and/or accommodation expenses.  ISSOME 2011 will reimburse a part of the expenses after the conference  (receipts will be required).</p>
<p>Grant applicants are requested to submit:<br />
- one-page explanation for a) why the applicant wants/needs to attend  the ISSOME Doctoral Forum, and b) why the applicant demands funding  support, and c) an estimation of the travel and accommodation expenses<br />
- proof of PhD student status (e.g. copy of valid student ID,  matriculation confirmation, written confirmation by PhD supervisor)<br />
- optional recommendation letters (e.g. from PhD supervisors or professors from the home university)</p>
<p>Grant applications are accepted in the following formats: .pdf, .rtf,  .doc, .docx.
